The Oakhurst Branch Library is part of the San Joaquin Valley Library System (SJVLS). There are 99 libraries in this system in 9 different counties from Mariposa to Kern County. Any library card holder can check out a book at one of these locations and return it to any other location within the SJVLS. A library can also transfer books that are not available at your local library
from another location that has it on the shelf.

Visit the site for upcoming events at libraries, to request a new book, place a book on hold, and even extend your loan period on-line. Search for a magazine or news article using the EBSCO search function and have it emailed to your computer. The website also includes links to Newspapers, reference sites, and numerous state and federal websites.
